These points can be used to buy individual samples or complete packs. A one-shot (drum hit, synth note) is usually 1 point, a loop is 2 points and vocals can be 4, 8 or 16 depending on length. Full sample pack prices vary but typical from around 900 to 1500. The beauty of Loopcloud is that you mix and match which samples you buy, you can of course buy a full pack but equally only buy the loops and samples you need. If you tend to buy one or two sample packs a year you can see the subscription is excellent value, the cost of the studio subscription is about the same as 2 or 3 sample packs and you’re getting so much more for your money.
